Fire & Fuel
What fuels your fire? My fire is stoked by many things. My love for my family, my connection to community, and my dedication to thoughtful stewardship are the foundation for one hell of a bonfire. My beautiful and talented wife and my crazy-amazing kids inspire me, motivate me, challenge me, and support me every day, in all that I do. My work in leading organizations that support our industry, keep me connected and inspired and full of energy. My focus on stewardship fills me with purpose and keeps my glass full. Adventure is my happy place and sharing my adventures with my family and community keeps me filled with love and energy. I spend my life and time just trying to leave it a little better than I found it.
If the universe was to be really honest it would probably own up to the fact that I should have been born a fish. Somehow though, it slapped me into this human skin and I have spent my life trying to figure out how to breathe underwater. One of these days I will figure it out, until then, I will just remain at my best when I have free and open access to water.
